What to do

What reviewers' visits suggest, and a number to ring.

Super busy, and still kind.

Kenneth Campbell was home in Dundee from another continent, helping his dad with tyres that were slowly losing air. This is how he told it.

  1. 1

“I was back home in Dundee and was trying to help my (not so young) Dad take care of tires that were slowly leaking air.”

  2. 2

    100cars a day

“Franks was super busy (they do 100 cars a day) but they were kind and fitted us in.”

  3. 3

“They checked the tires, replaced worn and overly-tight lug nuts, resealed all the rims,”

  4. 4

“and charged us absolutely, 100%, nothing.”

Good to know

Can I just turn up?

Reviewers describe doing exactly that with punctures and tyres, and being told to take a seat. It can be busy (one reviewer heard they do 100 cars a day), so a quick call on 01382 813333 tells you how long the wait is. For MOTs and services, ring to arrange a time.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am to 12pm. Closed on Sunday.

I've got a slow puncture. Is it worth bringing in?

Yes. A slow leak can be the tyre, the valve or the seal on the rim. One reviewer brought in tyres that were slowly leaking air and had the rims resealed and worn wheel nuts replaced.

How much will it cost?

Prices depend on the car and the job, so they aren't listed here. Ring with your registration or tyre size and ask, or come in and ask at the counter.

Where are you?

15 Old Glamis Road, Dundee DD3 8JB. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
